Who is Sylvia’s Designers Touch? After spending several years in the women’s retail clothing industry, Sylvia had an idea that offering high quality lines of women’s clothing and exemplary customer service was the only way to fulfill her entrepreneurial dream. Sylvia’s Designers Touch was born in 1983 and has become a landmark women’s boutique. It has been nestled among the local boutiques, national specialty shops and restaurants at the Borgata in Scottsdale, Arizona since then. The design for this beautiful center replicated the Tuscan village of San Gimignano complete with cobblestone walkways and fountains. This was home for a wonderful run spanning 30 years. But all good things come to an end. The Borgata has been demolished and replaced with condominiums.
Why did Sylvia decide to start an Online Store? The answer is simple. Each year so many of our regular local clients and winter visitors ask for our web address .Eventually it became a good idea. We finally decided to join the world of online shopping to better serve our hundreds of clients in the U. S. and Canada. Better late than never! Sylvia researched the industry and discovered a veteran web designer whose experience in the women’s clothing industry was a perfect fit (no pun intended). A very experienced and knowledgeable Web Store Manager was chosen and sylviasdesignerstouch.com was launched. It has proven to be exactly what many women want. An online store with the feel of being there in person. Hands on Personal Service and contact with the owner is something you won’t find in another online boutique like this…..…anywhere.

After 7 different locations in 35 years including the last 5 years at the Village Square in Dana Park in Mesa Arizona, we realized that our customers enjoy shopping online more than trudging through retail malls and trekking across long stretches of asphalt parking lots.
